We have the most updated and suitable treatment for each individual patient’s needs.

There are different techniques to conduct orthodontic treatments. Your dental healthcare professional will define a technique based on x-rays, photos, models and patients’ expectations.

Types of orthodontic attachments:

Metal braces: theses braces are more visible in the mouth, and there are different brands and sizes which are used to work different techniques.

Cosmetic braces: they are transparent and less visible in the mouth, and they do the same work as metallic braces if they are good quality.

Self-ligating braces: these braces may be metallic or cosmetic. Treatment time is less and dental appointments are further apart avoiding the uncomfortable use of rubber bands.

Mini temporary implants: These implants allow more efficient movement and strengthen all orthodontic techniques improving the characteristics of an attachment so that the biological response may be the expected one, and they are used in special cases.

Invisalign clear aligners: They are series of transparent plates that move your teeth gradually thanks to precise forces to achieve controlled movement of the teeth. These plates are changed periodically, guiding teeth gradually to a desired position. In each stage, only certain teeth are allowed to move. The time the procedure takes is determined by the number of plates depending on an expected objective. It has the advantage that it can be removed to eat, for dental hygiene and to see the evolution of a patient’s treatment. Another advantage is that you can see the results of a treatment, even before beginning it.

For this treatment to be successful patient collaboration and commitment is required because success depends on wearing these plates constantly.

Lingual braces: These braces are placed on the backside of the teeth, and they are generally uncomfortable and may hurt your tongue.
